Still fairly new to the Michigan City area, the staff of Patrick’s Grille understand there is more to running and becoming a delicious, popular restaurant. The success also comes from giving back to the community, and being known as the ones to call to help out.
They just held an amazing Give Back Night to help out the 3-year-old boy, Edward Burek-Phillips who was involved in a serious tractor accident in June. Joining in with the community in support of #BubStrong, the staff of Patrick’s Grille held a silent auction in addition to the Give Back night, where 10 percent of sales went to the family.
Patrick’s Grille is also available for local organizations and groups to use their space for events. It could be a canvas painting night, or used as a meeting spot over lunch, either way the staff at Patrick's are happy to accommodate.
The restaurant will be opening its doors on August 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the August Lunch with the League of Women Voters of La Porte County.
Reservations are required to attend and attendees may purchase a lunch of their choice from the menu. The speaker of the event is Steve Bernth, Director of the Youth Service Bureau in La Porte County.
These lunches are held every 2nd Tuesday of the month at Patrick’s Grille, who welcomes all to listen to the speakers of each meeting, discussing the prevalent topics of interest.
And... if these two events are just not possible to attend, yet you’re craving a Patrick’s Grille dish, then head to the Taste of Michigan City coming up August 4 – 5th.
Head to the Uptown Arts District for a great afternoon of eating and look for the Patrick’s Grille logo. The staff are offering mini brats, meatloaf sandwiches, chicken Caesar wraps, thunderbird salad, and stuffed chocolate chip cookies.
Whether you’re enjoying cocktails, a gourmet dinner, or are there to paint, Patrick’s Grille will always be open for their community!
